Help! No sound

Ok. today I've just started to get no sound, I changed from my speakers to headphones, still no good, and I've tried unmuting and turning up the volume in this nForce s-h-i-t, yet i'm still getting nothing, I've also tried to use my microphone, the computer picks it up but I can't hear anything?

The only thing that I have changed is that I installed Logitech Webcam this afternoon

Have you looked in control panel at sound properties to see if some how it has being muted?

Yep can be something in control panel -> sounds.

Also you might need to reinstall sound, not just update.

see if you some who managed to disable the sound card in device manager or the bios. other than that reinstall your drivers or update them.

It sounds as if you might have the same problem.

Check in your device properties (Thru device manager) if the device is disabled.
If it is, just enable it.
If not, REINSTALL (not update)the drivers...

I've already done all of the above before, none of them work.

Uninstall the Logitech Webcam. It sounds like that caused your sound to stop working. If your sound starts working again you know that was the problem. If it is the problem get the most recent drivers off Logitech's website and try again.

It may be the Webcam but i dont see why...
Try what Arbagan suggested and if it doesnt work i would reinstall windows...
