I need help installing a game

i need to know how to install unreal tournament because every time i try to install it it freezes and i press exit and it comes up with this program in not responding end now and that happens every time. so i need to know how to overcome this problem or another way of installing it??

do u have the min system requirements..? wats ur system specs. check if the CD is ok, i mean if there r scratches or not.

Does your computer have any current viruses. Also does the computer have a lot of junk on it as in bits and pieces of files everywhere. Also as said check that your computer has adequate Video card memerory does it have enough RAM or processing power? I've found that if games don't work, I can uninstall them do a disk defrag and reinstall.
Try all these methods, they just might work.

Is it an original copy? If it is return it to the store you bought it from and tell them it doesnt work. If your new copy still doesnt work then you know somethings wrong with your system.

Right basically I thought that the original might be defective so you should return it. Obviously that isnt possible if its your friends copy. Post your system specs here and a screenshot of when its crashed and I'll see what I can do :)
