First off Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Next, I have two harddrives one with winxp and post of my programs on it, the other has mostly mp3s and games. My problem is that the one with the mp3s and games has been acting wierd.

Three times this week when I booted into Windows it would show up that the disk isn't formatted and when I click on it, to open it in windows explorer, it asked if I wanted to format it. I would restart and it would be fine each time. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Maybe it is because the two HDD use different disk systems (the one may be using NTFS, and the other FAT32)
I don't know... You should try to format the disk anyways (how annoying this may sound)

Unless someone else knows the exact solution for this :)

To be honest, it soundz like the drive is acting up, or a controller.

I personally would take a backup of the disk that's playing up, and then run some diagnostics on it, as it may be on it's way out. GO and download the BootCD from http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ (One for you Brick as I know U like your utils ;) ) and it will almost guarantee to have a diagnostics app for your hard disk.

Let us know how you get on.
