nfs underground doesn't start [Archive]

hi, i have a problem with nfx underground. after starting it with a nocd crack the first loading bar appears, and after it nothing happens... i can't enter to the game menu or anything else...
the newest drivers are installed, det 52.16 and dx9.0b...
my system:
xp1700@2800
g4 ti4200 (asus)
kt400 (asus)
512mb pc2700

I downloaded the crack for nfs underground v 1.1 EURO but it doesnt work.
It says I have to run dev-rtp first. I downloaded that programm but what does it do???
All i can see that it makes 2 dll files.
Nothing is changed
after I copied the speed.exe it still asks fo the CD

(I have bought the game but the cd has broken)
