View Full Version : help w/ NFS underground

hi

i have to game on 2 cds
i've installed it without n e problems.
but when i tried to play it, it kept asking me to insert a disk.
i've tried running the game with both disks, but it doesn't work.
i've also tried downloading the no-cd fix for the game, for both v1.0 and 1.1, but each time i start the fix, the windows error report thing pops up and closes the fix.

is there n e thing that i'm doing wrong?
n e help would be appreciatied

Y'ah know I got the game installed, ran it with the crack and it worked fine untill I reached a certian point. Then it kept crashing... So I went through un-installing and re-installing, a few times to no avail. Somewhere in the process of that I got bored, formatted and re-isntall win2k.

Now when I insert the cd, I get an that reads as.....

?????????autorun gui??????
yes no

Then another screen saying it couldnt find doc/settings...bla bla, autorun.gui

Long story, shorter... their may even be issues with some of the copies of the game. All a big annoying mystery to me ATM.

well if u own the original and still get that problem ring up ea games help support

What cracks? I've got mine working fine with a no-cd crack

EA didn't really help....

i tried the no-cd crack from deviance... both of them..
i guess i'm having a problem similar to japp on this thread > http://www.mgforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18675

is there a compatability issue with the crack and win xp?
or is there something else that i missed?

works good for me with xp pro
look through the deviance folder on cd1 for the working crack
and if you patched the game, get the newest no cd crack from gamecopyworld

well, i've tried uninstalling the whole thing...
then installing the whole thing again...
i tried it in the c: drive and the d: drive
i've tried every crack i can find
and i've even tried to disassemble the .exe...
that's the weird part... it won't disassemble... none of the cracks or the original .exe will disassemble....

so my problem lives...

can someone please help me?
and/or maybe send me a speed.exe that's working for them on their computer.. (which mite be similar to mine)
i'm running win xp sp1, p4 2.2, radeon 9000 128mb, 512 ram
