Ive downloaded a couple of trainers for vice city and cant get either one to work. ive updated the vice city software. and have tried everything i know im totally up for any advice

Make sure you are using correct version.

Also look for readme files with the trainers.

some trainers are made for VC version 1.0 and others are made for version 1.1 if you haven't installed any updates you have version 1.0 so check for that. another thing is that you probably didn't install it good. of if its a main.scm edit you will have to start a new game because your old games will not load at all since every game is assigned to the main.scm and if you change it wont work (duh).
