Ive reformated my c: drive , and reinstalled xp pro fresh, yet it loads slow on boot up, norton antivirus takes its time to start up at the beginning, and soldier of fortune 2 keeps crashing. This did'nt happen before.
Any ideas ?

I have a 1900+ cpu and 512mb of ram. There was none of these problems before i reformatted, i only reformatted because some went wrong with windows its self.
These problems i have mentioned have only just come after a fresh install after formating the c drive.

Did you format with NTFS (I hope you did) ?!

NV is right. The only reason you would need FAT32 is if you are also running Linux and wish to be able to write to the drive. If you are not running Linux, change to NTFS. You can do this without needing to reinstall.

I seem to have sorted the problem, i reformatted the drive again and re-installed xp fresh and it seems to be running fine now.Oh i did format it as ntfs this time.
