NFS Underground Freeze

Hi, I've got a serious prob in the game

In the Underground mode, when loading the 6th race, the game freezes on the loading screen, I have to reset the computer.

I've got a GeForce Ti4200 64DDr, the latest drivers, DX 9 and XP Pro SP1.

And my game is on patch 1.1

Anyone can help me?

while playing NFS: Underground, my game freeze for 10 seconds and continue and freeze and continue and ....

average per race it will freeze for 2 or 3 times. :rangeups

this is a new machine and this only game i'm avail to play.

any idea what is the problem?

win xp pro sp1 with feb. autopatcher
256 x 2 dual ddr 400mhz
p4 2.8 prescott
gigabyte 8ipe1000-g

As North Viking asked are you using the original CD or a copy w/ crack? If you're using an original you can ask EA since you paid for the licence...if you're using a crack try another one as some cracks won't work and that's usually caused by upgrades/patches (i.e. made for V1.0 and then you update to 1.1).

I think it is your video card. i don't think that is sufficient for running NFSU on 800X600 or higher with no problems and the video card is only 64 mb. I would upgrade to a better video card.
