Question:
We have both win2k and winnt interviewing machines in which we run a software named CFMC, it's for market research. The problem I am running across as the IT Admin is that on the Win2k machines the telnet allows the interviewers to use the function, arrow and number pad to the right of the keyboard. The version of telnet they are using is win2K, it came with Win2k.
The same is so for the winnt machines, they use the telnet version that came with winnt. When they logon they don't have use of any of the above mentioned features.
I tried using PUtty and other Telnet packages but they right the data to the registry which resets every time the interviewers logon. Currently they run telnet from an icon on their desktop that logs the IP to connect to from a batch file on the server.
They are locked down as on the desktop.
Any ideas of what software to use or tricks to try? By the way they are logging into a linux server that runs the CFMC application.
THANKS!
