Virus(i need help)

I dont know if this thread does go in here but i need help and i think im right about putting this in here.
Guys is there any chance that u can help get rid of the Downloadr Dulca B virus, ive tired evryfing bar reformatin my hard-drive(not a fun to do), ne suggestions???????

Best thing to do is either get a virus fix from www.symantec.com (http://www.symantec.com) or load up the computer in 'Safe-mode' then run your Anti-virus program

If you don't have some AV software, try www.grisoft.com, it's free for personal use.

Try as Brick says though, Safe Mode and run it.

As Brick said, downlaod the fixes, also if you dont have a Anti-Virus program download AVG Anti-Virus(i think it is how its called) its free and works pretty good.

many viruses have more than one name, an altho symantec might not have it, try looking for downloader dulca A, or downloader dulcaC etc....

an an PS....AVG honestly sucks my nuts, i had a virus, it detected it, but couldnt remove it POS if u ask me, ur better off goin to Mcafee.com, an getting a free 15 day trial of virusscan....

What you can also do, is letting NAV quarantaine the virus, and later format your HD. I know formatting sn't fun, but it's sometimes the best way to kill a "hard-to-kill" virus.

And if you got windows 98/ME/XP, etc. Try checking what programs are ran when you boot up windows by starting MSCONFIG (Start -> run -> MSCONFIG) (startup tab).

Remove everything that seems to out of order there.
