View Full Version : Battlefild 1942 Patch Problem

Hello,
I have installed BF1942 a while ago, and applied 1.25 patch, it worked fine, I played the game. When the 1.3 Patch was released i tried to install it, it installs sucessfully, but when I run the games, nothing happens. I checked the TaskManager, the game exeutable appears for a couple of seconds and then disappears. I ignored the problem, and kept playing with the 1.25 version, but now, the new 1.5 patch has benn released, it has so many fixes. but the same problem is still there. Anyone has an idea about what is going on?

Did you try updating directx, your graph card drivers and reinstalling the game?

Hello,
My directx is 9.0b , and my drivers are up to date. wierd though, i ran the game and the patch on a different computer, it worke fine !

I would check the FAQ or their website for eventual replies to similar problems.
By the way, I suppose you are running the original CD? If you're running a copy, you will need another crack.

The problem is before the crack, it doesn't matter if i use the nocd crack or not, if i don't use the cd , and it is not cracked, it doesn't ask me for a cd. Even the dedicated server won't run. wierd. I have copied the entire folder from my friend's pc. even though, it won't work. the same thing happens. I totaly removed the folder, and copied the file from another PC, on which 1.5 patch is working fine. nothing happens. the same problem.
