How to use mIRC to download?

In addition to Kazaa Lite and other P2P programs, some of you may be interested in using mIRC as downloading tool.
After many requests I finally made a tutorial about how to use mIRC for legal purposes only. It can be found here at my new website (sorry if it is still in .doc format, I'll convert it to .pdf or .html as soon as possible)

Yes, I am very sorry, but the tutorials section of helpseek.net is down at the moment. I'm moving the servers.

Which would be a better p2p client? Bit Torrent or mIRC? As of now, I use Bit Torrent through Shareaza... I like it only because it's simple and I can just leave it on? I just downloaded Max Payne 2 through Bit Torrent and it came in within 5 days or beginning it. How long would it take mIRC to download the files?

Depending on your connection and that of the uploader it could be under 2 hours.
