Hey all! I'm having a problem with anti-mod protection on some of my games, such as NHL Faceoff 2001 from 989 sports. I have heard that all 989 games cannot be copied, but I was wondering if anyone can help me out here? Maybe let me know where I can find a patch? Megagames.com doesn't have an anti-mod patch. Thanks....

yep 989 of the games cannot be coppied but to copy them you need a dvd burner. There is not patch for it.

i take it this is a ps2 game as i see 'dvd burner' ,but i just had a look at the static nfo fot there release of this game ,and the nfo has it down to be a cd not a dvd game, but also the nfo states that they released a patch along with the game, and that u have to use this patch other wise the game wont work. Now i aint seen this patch on any sites but maybe u should have a butcher on direct connect ,maybe some one on there has it.
But if this is the psx version your talking about then i dont know. Also psx games aint on dvd so a dvd burner aint needed, just a stealth mod chip will do ,Plus ps2 games dont have anti mod protection.

I burned a 989 game today, Supercross Circuit, with my CD burner and CloneCD and it worked fine. Is it just the newer 989 games that won't work, or what?
