Hey everyone here is my problem. I'm trying to connect my xbox to my PC. I've set my PC IPs to: 192.168.0.1, SUB: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.0.1. I have the dashboard disc inside my xbox. I'm trying to install the dashboard to the xbox's HDD. Do I need the disc in the drive when I try to connect? I have tried it with the disc in. And set the xbox's IPs to 192.168.0.2 SUB: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.0.1. I'm using a ethernet cable from the xbox to my ethernet card. When I the cable is connected it says network cable unplugged on my PC. Please help me correct this problem. I am using Evox Bios as well as Evox dashboard.

If the cable is going directly from your XBOX to the PC, the cable needs to be crossover, make sure it is crossover, and not the regular RJ45.

Also have a look at the xbox tutoruals here:
