hey guys

i have the Beta in 100 parts,now i want t play it so i extract the files from part 1! Right,but there is no .exe file,so i load the patch.
Then there is an exe but it doesnt work!
Everybody says that when it is installed it takes 1.5GB mine is only 0,98GB!
What is wrong?
Where is the setup?
Or what do i have to do?

You don't need to install it ,you click the first file in winrar and tell it where to ectract to and then it will extract the 100 files.Then just go to where you extracted it to ,and click the hl2.exe.

Also mine is just over 3gb when unrared ,but the download was 1.5gb.

Yes thats the problem!
my version was 1,35GB in download!
and when i extract the part1 it is only 0,98GB!
And there is no exe.file!

Don't just extract part 1 ,extract them all.Click the first file then go extract and you should see winrar go through all the files extracting stuff.

Because people are downloading it the game will not be out until april because people will be able to develop cheats early on
