green to red light

I just instaled a lpc mod chip. and when I trun it on ithe green light goes from green to red green to red. what can I do to see if the mod chip is installed right.

ok is it installed with the pin header or direct with wires? as we need a bit more infp.
over all it sounds like either the ide cables arent plugged in properly or a bad flash (or hasnt been flashed yet)

it is conected by pin and the do is conected on top. flash what is that.
