i have recently purchased and installed sim city 3000 unlimited on my P4 2g windows XP computer. I can load the game fine but when i get to the menu it flickers (this is not the main problem) i can still access options ect but within a few seconds the options stop flickering and the game freezes not allowing me to do anything including shutting down the program. Please help me because i am at a loss. by the way i have downloaded and installed all new drivers for my TNT2 video card

do u have a SIS chipset?? cause i know you need a patch to sort that problem out. i also have this game it is one hell of a memory eater. only other thing i can suggest is that you put all the video settings on low. you wait till you get a kick arse city. you can see ur pc turning red from all the work it is having to do.
