View Full Version : Please help with midnight club 2

Good day

OK I have been playing midnight club 2 for a while now....i passed the los angeles section and am working through the paris region but for some unknown reason as soon as I load the current race it crashes to the desktop. the rest of the game works such as single race it is just this race during career mode....it installed fine I reinstalled it and still does the same thing.

I have ati radeon 9000 pro (64 mg ddr) I have updated drivers and am using directx 9.0.

my hard drive has around 5 gigs left.

does it have something to do with free memory.


I cannot remember making any changes to my computer that would affect this.

please help me...this is very annoying.

my computer:

pentium 1.7
windows xp
256 ram
40gig harddrive.


as I said everything is fine except for loading this one race during career mode which of course is the core of the game.

please please help me.

I know other people have problems with it crashing to the desktop but my drivers are all updated and it was working fine.

Try to apply a patch.
Also download the latest drivers for your graph card

I am also having the same problem with the game.

All my Drivers are updated and the rest of the game works fine up untill the second race with Stephane when I get kicked to the desktop.

No error reported just banished to the desktop.

I have started from the begining twice and everytime I get to that race I get booted.

Please help!?!?!?!

Radeon 9000pro (128 meg)
P3 1gig
5gig free HD space
640meg mem

Any help would be awsome

Very strange that i would be happening at the same point in the game for different people.

Did a quick search on google and megagames and I don't think there are any patches out for this game.

Are you both using a NO CD crack and is the game an orginial?

It is an origional but I am useing a no cd crack (hate haveing to switch cd's all the time).
I will try reinstalling and not cracking it.

OK I reinstalled and didn't crack it.
same problem same place.
