Hey there...
I have updated my pc from windows update today, and when i rebooted it, the login sreen appeared. it havent been there before, it has just loaded right into windows, and thats the way i like it. im very annoyed with the login screen, so is there any way to remove it and make it load directly into windows again?

It's been a while since I've done this, but IIRC, if you don't have a password set, and you choose from welcome screen-->classic login screen it should log you in automatically.
Try:
Control Panel-->User Accounts-->Change The Way Users Log On Or Off-->Use Welcome Screen-->[uncheck]

i tried that, and that just changed the new fancy win xp login screen, with the win 2k style password box... :(
as long as i know there is no way to get that off. even i am annoyed by that:)

Hold your horses.
Do you mean you don't want to enter any name or password when logging in ?
Just disable password then.
Else www.tweakxp.com (http://www.tweakxp.com) might have a solution.

I've done it before in XP, without using any 3rd party programs, so it's definitely possible.
