Nvidia Laptop Help!

I have a dell inspiron 2650 p4 1.8 ghz 256ram i have a geforce 32mb go graphics card and i recently purchased toca racer i play the game and it loads up fine and eveything and sometimes i start a race and everthing is fine but 1 in three times when i click on race it start to load and then a blue screen comes up saying somthing like windows has been halted to protect your pc its some error to do with a file called nv4_disp.dll so i tried updating my graphics card driver to solve the problem but it didnt work the driver seemed to be installed but when i checked the version of the the nv4_disp.dll file the version still remained to be the old version i tried using detonator destroyer but this didnt work either please somebody help me!!!!!

or try this fix might work for you

If your using XP and a nvidea card
and experiance the well known lockup bug when trying to play games ect ect

the following should fix the problem,


1. go to display properties\advanced\troubleshoot tab\then un check enable write combining

2.go to start\run\regedit\the to the following key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management

create the following dword > LargePageMinimum set it to
ffffffff in the hexadecimal which will = 4294967295 in value -- reboot

3.try setting the agp apeture to 128MB loacated in bios settings
