PSone NTSC to PAL

I have brought my kids a new PSone, (I know they are out of date but the kids are only 5 & 6) The problem is I live in the UK which uses PAL format and the console is an NTSC model.

Can anybody help with info on chipping or otherwise so I can play backedup PAL games on the NTSC console.
