Question: Burned Ps2 Games

If you burn a PS2 game do you need a mod chip or is there another way to do it? I remember on PS1 you could use Action Replay as a mod chip would it work for PS2 also the newer AR? Thanks.

Briefly .. Yes mate .. you need it chipped .. there is the " Knife Trick " but it is not guaranteed and certainly not advisable :rangewin

Get it chipped but be carefull...Mine has been chipped for nearly one year now with no bother at all.I paid top money to have it done though !..A friend of mine got his PS2 chipped from some dodgy bloke,charged him £50 but it just knackered his machine up..Ask ya mates who have had it done and see if everything was fine.If there's was OK get it chipped from the same place..It might be dear to start with but cheaper in the long run..
