Has anyone had any problems playing copied games on the evox moded xbox?
There are now 20 games on mine but the last 2 copied on wont load, they are in the games menu and when you select either of them it goes to the loading screen then back to the menu?
Any suggestions?
The 2 games in question are Brute Force & Bounty Hunter.
Jason
I've tried both games from the HD and they work fine for me. Have you tried actually burning them to DVD-R?
Also, which version of evoX are you running?

I created a directory on c:\bios\ and copied the bios.bin file there.
There is still no option to flash the bios though. After reading a few articles what is this "mode 4, bios protect" and how do I change that to allow me to flash?

Ok I found 2 options in the evox.ini file that had been shaded out, one being FLASH and the other being BACKUP and there nw both active. I tried to do the flash but I now get the following...
Manufacturers ID bf Device ID 61
!! Unknown Flash Type !!

I wish it where that simple :( although all the chips on the mobo are black. This is one that appears to be an added extra to the norm. There appear to be several wires running on this chip and soldered to the modo, the description on the chip is as follows. "SSI, 49LF820, 33-4C-NH, 0214095-A". With any luck there the details I am looking for otherwise I will keep trying.

Hey Nick thanks for your help.
I will be pritty wary of flashing down the track, I am having the ALX2+ installed in my box at the moment so with any luck i'll have that back tomorrow and will be alot happier having the bios backup features :)
Anyway talk to you soon and thanks everyone else that helped me work out the other issues. I should have stuck with the 77 flash but hey what can I say!
