PS2 v2 USA, DVD+R & Flip-Top

I'm in a pickle in a way. I have a v2 PS2 USA. A DVD+R/W (Only) drive, and I want to get the PS2 Flip Top. Will DVD+R's work on this with the Flip Top? Will DVD rips to +r's work or will only 1:1 copies to -r's and CD-R's work.

Sorry for my newbie question, but the help is appreciated! I'm POOR!!!!!!!!

I have a ps2flip top and it works great on cd-r back ups. but the dvd disc just spin and spin. I am new at this to so maybe I am just useing the wrong dvd disc. on cd-r any will work on 1;1 copy. I use the game shark for my boot disc.

IT WORKS!!! I have a V2 PS2 with a Flip Top and my DVD+R's play PERFECTLY on it! I have ESPN Hockey and Football playing perfectly.

What method did you use to get the dvd+r to work. I have a v4 35001. I thought that dvd-r where the only ones you can use.

Im using Swap Magic V2.0.....v2 Playstation 2.....HP 300n DVD+R/RW and Sony DVD+R's. I burn on 2x like normal and play
they all work. I burned ESPN Football, ESPN Hocky, and NFS HotPursuit 2, and all play perfect.

I tried to burn dvd-r and dvd+r useing gameshark and I havent had one work yet. have you tried the shark or does the magic only work for the dvd rom games.
