Playstation's Cd-rom Specifications...

I've noticed that on the back of the psone box it reads something like the cd-rom's specifications being double speed. Does that mean that backups made over 2x won't work? I've read people being able to play backups burnt at 4x. Also, what about music cds burnt over 2x will they work?

I doubt it has anything to do with burning speed.

What they mean is that CD reads @ 2x.

Yeah you could burn games with 4x speed what I know.
The lower the better copies.
