What games did I miss on Playstation 1?

I was in Nintendo 64 land while Sony was on it's bandwagon with it's Playstation 1. I now have a PS2 and would like to catch the best of PS1. Any recommendations. I already have....Ape escape 2, Chrono Cross, All the bandicoots, Toy Story 2. Any others? Thanks

Yeah, Final Fantasy VII, VIII and Metal Gear Solid 2 were the best games on PSone.

MGS2 wasnt on PS1!? MGS1 was on ps1, so u should get MGS1, some of the FF games, hmmm i cant think of any other game.

well the MGS game that was on the PS1 should have been like MGS 3 or something since there were a few releases on the old NES, so maybe that's what he meant. But anyway FFVII, MGS, and hot shots golf were my favs! And i don't even like golf that much!
