I just got a Messiah 2 chip installed and I noticed that some backups I had once bought in a flea market constantly skip. If I insert an original PS2 game the skipping stops but if I put the backup games in, there's a constant bugging sound coming from the laser or something. I just wanted to make sure if it's coz of cheap media use or bad cd-writing or if it could be done by the chip. I wanted to know what you 'experts' thought or know about this. Is there anyway to stop this or it's just plain normal due to the quality of the backup media? Oh and the chip loads the games perfectly fine, I'm only talking about the sound issue. Thanks:)
