Intellisense for Visual Studio.net

After getting my laptop reimaged for school. The intellisense on VS.net decided to stop working after searching through help and the options I have not found a way to turn it on in C++. any help woul dbe appreciated.

What are the specs for your laptop? VS .net is very resource intencive, and doesn't work as well on the older OSs.
