Yes, but instead of just changing that one, create a new entry for it, and be sure to specify the path, and all the other info in evox.ini.

To play games from your hard drive, use a tool like XISO (http://www.yursoft.com/index.php?pagina=xboxutils.php) to extract the game ISO file, then once it's extracted, put it in a temp folder (i.e. GameName) and then move that folder to the F:\ drive/parition on your x-box.
Select run games from HD from evox, and it will automatically detect the game.

so pretty much copy the files from x-box disc, use Xiso to make an iso of the X-box disc, then use xiso to extract the files to game name folder, then upload folder to x-box, correct?
PS: Also i made 2 evox dash skins with loading screens, with the help of cyraxx and ofcourse the app responsible, but anyone want to put them on a site for download.? they work perfect so far for me =]

The site is back up.
Anyway you have an extra step which you don't need. In your case do the following:
Connect your xbox to your PC.
FTP to your X-Box
When connected, open the xbox drive, and put the dvd game into the drive.
Refresh your ftp client and now browse your xbox dvd drive.
Copy those files to a temp dir on your hard drive
go to the temp drive you copied the files to and make a new directory for it on your F:\games folder on your xbox hard drive, and move the folder there.
My instructions above (extracting the file) should be used if you currently have an ISO file. THere is no need to create it, and then extract it in this case, that's just a waste of time.

Ok viewing my F: it said it has 0 bytes now i try and make a folder it says i did but then it is still empty, so i tried to create it all on my pc then transfer it over "Using flashFXP" and it wont let me upload it, i checked the dash it says F: is enabled, can someone give me a shout on the issue please?
i tried creating a folder with FlashFXP and LeechFTP, neither would let me.
EDIT:: Ok i got it, just changed the F: in the evox ini to E: and its working fine. eccept the game i copied to it hangs on loading screen. but could be a data transfer error, gonna try again.
I use F:\games as my directory. As long as you make sure the actual path is specified in your ini, you should be ok.
Try another game and see if it works.
BTW, as for the F:\ I had problems with it at first as well, so when I viewed it, the partition was empty, so what I did was create a folder in F:\ put some data into the folder, then it showed up fine.
