Thank you for the reply I am cool with that, I have my ps2 hooked up to the pal tv here. All of my DVD's and NTSC games are working. The problem is I cant get any NTSC games or DVD's here. Or at least not easily/legally:) So I am looking for a fix to be able to watch PAL or NTSC DVD's and the same for for playing games. Any thoughts

If you want to play pal games on the usa ps2 then you will need a chip.To play your pal dvd's on your ntsc ps2 you will need something like a dvd region x to make the ps2 region free.

I suggest you look into getting a dms3 modchip fitted as this chip will allow you to play pal games on your ntsc system and will make your ps2 region free so you can play dvds from anywhere.

You can get a dms3 here http://www.divineo.de/cgi-bin/div-de/ps2-dms ,I wouldent attempt to install it yourself as it's 23 wires and it connects to alot of very close small points.

Yes you can play burnt ps2 games. As long as its a ps2 or ps1 game the chip will play it ,don't matter if it a burnt version or original.
