Can I play copied DVDs on my PS2?

If not what do I need to do to play copied DVDS on the PS2?

Can I write PS2 Games on my normal CD Writer?

1. Some copied DVD's may play on PS2's but in the past i have found that most of them won't.

2.Usually you cannot write PS2 DVD CD games with a normal CD-Writer as the games file size is too large for the cd. To do this you will need a DVD-Writer and DVD-RW discs.

Copied dvd films will play fine on a unmodded ps2.For games you will need a chip ,cd ps2 game can be burnt with a normal cd writer ,dvd game will will need a dvd writer.

Thanks for the answers, I do have copied DVDs but the machine asks me to insert compatible PS2 discs??

How do you get the machine to play the copied discs? "Armidillo"

If its a film ,just put it in and it will play like a normal dvd ,but it needs to be region free or the same region as the ps2.

Depends where you are , a uk one plays region 2 dvd's ,a usa ps2 is region 1.

If you get a region x then you can play anyregion

if u have a mod chip u can play any region or a gameshark :)
