I have a ps2,I been playing for a few months,now I have a couple games that will play,the rest would not,it says Disc read error,I don't have a mod chip,any idea why I can play some games,and not others

Seen as u dont have a chip i asume there all original games.Maybe the discs r scratched or there dirty,....maybe...just maybe.

I've heard of many other people that had this problem... I don't know what the problem is, but I'll PM you a site that may be able to help you.

Have you been using the Game Shark?? It has been known to screw up your console....... Did that guy sent you the link to that website???? could you PM it to me..... I am having the same problem....
