View Full Version : what is the best No solder chip?

I have A SCPH-30001 V4 model PS2. I am looking for a chip I do not have to solder. Is there a direct boot model w/ Dvdr support?

No ,none of the no solder chips are direct boot and they all suck as they can't boot rips over 650mb.

I have a no solder chip and a version 4 board (GT3 version)...I havent had any probs at all...But , I dont rip games either...I have a dvd burner...

You won't have any probs if you don't play rips ,it's just some dvd games will fit on cd-r with nothing taken out and the no solder mod won't play them cause there over 650mb and it's a waste of a dvd for something that size.
