Help!!!!!!!!! DVD to CD

Hey, i have been lookin @ numerous sites lately trying to figure out how to burn copies of my ps2 Dvd's to DVD-r. From what i noticed it can't be done.

Can anyone tell me then what are the best programs to burn DVD to CD, so i can pick them up. Or websites that can help in the instructional part. I am new to this, so any help will be greatly appreciated. If i would of known this site was around years ago, i would still be a regular. Thanks in advance to any one who helps me.

You can back up your PS2 games on to DVD-R's try Alcohol 120%. To play them you need to have your console chipped, I recommend the Messiah 2 Pro chip.
As for DVD to VCD try the freeware programs on the net, like Smartripper, then use DVDx to convert it to mpg, then use a program like Nero to burn to a regular blank CDR.
