Problems with Silent Hill 3 & other questions

I was using DVD Decrypter with no problems until I came across Silent Hill 3. I use the Swap Magic Ver 2.0 swap disks and I burn onto Ritek DVD media and Verbatim media. The problem with the Silent Hill 3 burn is that it will hang on the initial loading screen. Can you offer any advice? Also what DVD media and burning software do you recommend? DVD-R or DVD+R? I have a couple of DVD burners, but am now using the Sony DRU-500A.

Silent hill 3 don't work with the swap magic discs.If you have a v6 or lower ps2 you can use the cd loader here http://www.hostultra.com/~liamv/cd_loader.htm with the swap magic discs to make it work.If you have a v7 your screwed and need to get a no swap chip.
