Rogue Spear: This is REALLY tough to figure

Ok, i've looked all over, and can't find anyone who can fix this, i try to install rogue spear, on windows xp, EVEN IN WINDOWS 95, 98 ETC MODE!! it alwasy freezes at 100%, doesn't respond, then, the game will not start up. and no, starting it in safe mode HAS NOT WORKED!!!! the patch 2.05 has no effect on it either, if ANY of you has any idea on how in the hell i can fix this, i'll thank you 1 thousand times, and yes, i will type thank you....1000 times haha

well i reinstalled xp, we'll see if THAT works, if it doesn't i'll reinstall it again, and none of you have been of any help so far thanks :), maybe someone who's had the same problem and FIXED it knows what to do?

It sounds like the cd is scratched, try cleaning it.

I think you have a problem with the CD itself. Try it on another computer and see what it does

no scratches...buuut..i'm just going to put windows 95 on too, i'm sure that'll make it work

Lol thats a lot of problems to go through just for a game. Try Raven shield. That game just rocks. But yea, that does sound like a bad cd. See if you can copy it without errors. If you can, then it sounds like a software problem some how. Maybe a driver doesn't like your game.

well, i just reinstalled windows xp, full clean install, game works like perfect now, thanks for trying to help though guys, really appreciated, maybe next time i'll have a REAL problem haha :beer:
