can anyone tell me the proper steps on how to burn games(pc,ps2). i have had a bit of success burning pc games using clonecd but some games it just will not do. have tried alcohol120% but looks to complicated. also, when using the game fixes from this site to burn games; how do you know which one to use when there are several for each game.

thks

JC,

Are you trying to burn game images (iso, bin/cue, etc) or are you trying to backup your original CDs?

To burn images, use the proper program.

Ex:

.nrg = Nero, .bin/cue = Fireburner/Cdr-Win, .ccd = Clone CD, etc..

I recommend you stick to Alcohol 120% for burning images, since it supports a large number of formats. It's really easy to use, just select image burning, select your image, and burn.

To backup your original CDs, use Clone CD.

Are you trying to burn a current image, or create a new one?
The format depends on you, but when burning, the most common is .ISO and .BIN/CUE. It's really up to you though.
