(BTW, let me know if this kind of pose should be moved to a different part of the forums)

I keep hearing all this hype on the news about how the government and companies cracking down on filesharing utilities like Kazaa. They say that people who have files (Ex. Music, software, games, movies) on their HDs or on their person that they have gotten from these fileshare programs that they can be arrested, or at least face law suits.

Does anyone know just how much headway they are making against fileshares, or if they are just going after music and movie swappers only? If they are, does anyone know any good fileswappers that are still useable without having to look over your sholder for the feds?

I would not be suprized if this post got deleated, but I did'int know which part of the forum to post this on and this section talks about Kazaa, so I figured this one would be as good as any.

unless you are like a MAJOR sharer.. like thousands of files a day - it would not be cost effective to pursue you anyway.

Safety in numbers...
