Helpy game doesn't want to work

:frown2: :cry2: I just installed The Sims Deluxe Edition yesteray and was playing it until i got off th computer and now it doesn't want to open so I can play it again! What is wrong and what should i do??? :frown2: :cry2:

Try putting the game CD into a different CD rom (If you have more than 1)

Or just Eject the CD Rom and Put it back in, and run it from Autoplay. See if that works.

If not try downloading a NO CD crack;)

Aye the cd cracks have solved many of my problems. Ive had many cd's not wanting to play anymore :(

If this works though remember to keep the cd because using the crack without it makes it illegal.

Try Uninstalling, and Reinstalling the game;) Then use a CD Crack

There is also a slim chance that your cd may be faulty, ive had this before although there appears nothing wrong with the cd just by looking at it.

Do you get any errors at all come up or when you click the shortcut does it just not load the game at all?

:doh:I don't get any error msgs or anything the auto run window comes up and when i click play game it disappears and then nothing happens!:doh:

Try running the EXE file directly from the Sims Folder;)

did you try and reinstall ? that should help

and try both no-cd crack and backup crack

:( i have tried everything and can't find a crack for the game as there is no crack or anything for the sims deluxe edition!:(

u can't have a crack for the sims deluxe edition.... because that is just a complimation of a few of the sims released..... i don't know what he latest one is in the sims deluxe edition..... i think it is sims house party.... tryin' d/l a crack for that and see if it works..... catch ya l8rs

I think its just Livin Large... Trying all the cracks couldn't hurt;)
