and anyway, if names are mentioned you will just get people throwing stuff at them or somthing, even though these people are sick, they have rights too.

what i think should happen is to stick all of them in areas where only old people live, that way no-ones children will be at risk, and they cant get anything out of it

Really? They have rights? That's amusing-- I agree with doughboy totally. Getting harrassed is the least repayment the abusers can give their victims. And this is coming straight from the abused's mouth--ME. No I am NOT ashamed of it and will speak freely about it if asked, after all, I didn't ask for it, it was definitely not my fault. And as for housing pedos with old folks--give me a break!! Do you honestly think if the kids weren't right underfoot, these sickos wouldn't just go looking for them?! I agree with the previous post here... the one about "Fixing" pedophiles, one way or the other...
BUT...
There's only so much that can be "fixed", before a man is irreparable. You can't turn a Robin Reliant into a Rolls Royce.
And in all seriousness, with the kind of **** that's been going on recently, bringing back the Death Penalty would only be a good thing... So long as it was only used when we were ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that we've got the right guy.
So, as for those who have raped... Using some means of altering them, either psychologically or simply chopping off their bollox, could be useful. So long as it's accompanied by an appropriate punishment - EG life imprisonment...
But as for those who have killed for a sexual thrill... Well, do we cut their bollox off or hang them?

That's so great, Vile. :) I'm not sure if we have anything like it in PA, and since I have no children (yet) I really haven't researched it...but with Megan's Law and all, I assume most states have something like it. Silly to say a website like that is "great", but it just is.:clap: They should be singled out no matter where they are or where they go...(other states, countries,etc.)

There are too many people with the same name to release any details about anyone.. its happened before.

I think that everyone should just be nice to each other and this wouldn't happen (world peace- unlikely!) - Or you could just educate children better about the dangers...

Being a father of a beautiful 2 yr old girl, I have thought long about this subject.
You see when I was a younger roust about, my motto was old enough to bleed old enough to breed. I had a 12 yr old Ford Model as a girlfriend when I was 22, believe me she didn't act or look 12 in the least. Before most of you were aware of such things, Milla Jovavich was a 12 year old supermodel in her time gracing the covers of Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle; you name it she was THE face for awhile-often scantily clad to boot.
So it is an understatement to say that society hasn't been sending out mixed messages on this entire subject of sexualizing children.

Witness the recent flap over ambercrombie's selling thongs for 7 year olds. What's wrong with this picture? You would think that just the act of buying the t-backs would constitute a form of child endangerment.

Then there's the greater historical perspective. It was not unusual at all for 12-13 year old girls to marry men in their late twenties/early thirties(this doesn't speak well for our maturity levels) as late as the early 1970's throughout the south and midwest.
This current hyperprotectivity of children is a cultural more that has only arisen in the last 20 years, and taken a life of its own the last 10.

I do not for one believe that consensual dating is the same as rape. On any level. If an underage teenage girl can get out of her parents field of authority to fritter away time with her beau, that is a far cry from her being dragged out her bedroom window and murdered after the slime was done with her.
Consider that the satutory laws mandating 20 year sentances are more severe than the laws regarding killing them. With the right lawyer and circumstances, you could get by with as little as 8 years tops in prison for manslaughter, that's with a guilty verdict! The statutory laws apply only to consensual cases and they pretty much trump anything else.
So the message is don't get to know the girls, drag them off and kill them, just be careful how you do it. Or no?

The problem I have with these alledged "pedophiles" is that all too many of them are nothing more than 18 year old boys who had relations with a 14 year old hottie. Heck these girls have ended up having the guys baby and later marrying them....and the guy is still on a sexual predator list?

There needs to be alot of redefinition of just what actually constitutes this crime altogether. Look, when 15 and 16 year old boys are being charged with possessing child pornography there is something screwy. Heck when I was 14 and 15 I wished I could find child porn because none of the naked pictures I could find even resembled the girls I was interested in at that age. 18 year old girly book chicks tend to have enough breast material to equip a whole class of 9th grade girls. Not that I didn't like 18 year old girls, it's just that a 15 year old boy has to be a movie star or on fire for an 18 year old hottie to pay any attention to him much less want to boff his brains out. I wasn't a movie star, and I'm not really one for that melted face look.

I say all this with the brutal awareness that my daughter has a high babe potential. Barring her getting into some godforbid accident or developing a weird eating disorder, she will be quite a honey I can say with all objectivity.
She will be a magnet for males of all ages who will try their tomcatting ways around her.
Her brother and I definitely have our work ahead of us in looking after her.
I realize that karma dictates that some adult males(high probability 90%+ that he will be a friend or acquaintance of her older brother) are going to try and vamp her. It is up to me to be vigilant and aware. If he still gets in under the wire, and evades the salt rock shot shells(heck, he's going to be the one to call the cops)............he just better hope she don't get pregnant. I'll epoxy my SPAS white for that occasion. Forget sending him to jail, I want his a$$ at home going to WORK.

As for the psychos that would devour my princess.
That's what I got the SPAS for.
