Resident Evil 3 trainers. (PC)

I downloaded some of the trainers on this site, but they don't seem to work? I start the game then the trainers and it doesn't give me umlimited ammo or energy, is there something i'm doing wrong... i have the US version game. thanks

Is the trainer for the same version of the game you have?

How would I know what verison the game is and the trainer?

Its difficult to know if the game version its made for is not in the read me, for game versions, look either in the game (usually located at bottom of screen) or look in the "read me" files of the game directory on ya puter
