hi can someone tell me how to format my hd please. i have win2k on and will be putting it back on.
i have made the 4 boot disks already.

Just intstall it, and it will automatticly ask if you wanna format...

i did this before but all i got was another operating system on my pc. this is why i want clean everything off then install win2k.

If you boot from CD, I'm fairly certain you will have the opportunity to delete the partition that your old windows installation is on. once you delete the partition and recreate it, you can format the partition and then install windows.... Not too hard to do, PM me if you need more help

You must tell the computer to start from the disk station, because obviously, it doesn't. Go in the BIOS setup program (mostly you have to press the delete key or F10 during bootup), and in the bios, search for a menu called "Boot" or something like that (depends on what BIOS you have), in there you can modify the order in which the PC boots up your devices...set up the disk station to boot up as first, then restart the PC with the boot disk 1 inserted.
NOTE!!! Be VERY careful! Don't mess up your BIOS. If you're not sure what to change, ask us here first!
