Sound on VCD!? (newbie)

i´ve just bought DareDevil on DVD, and i will make an backup!

I can rip to mpeg but there i no sound at all!

What should i do? should i have a speciel program?

What did you do when you ripped to mpeg ??

i.e. what programs etc...
