Difficult..
While I don't think it should be legalised, I do think the girls need some sort of protection...
I'm definately no prude, but I do think things like this should still be special between a male & female who care for each other.
Obviously we can't police it totally, but then trying to make it safer also makes people assume it's legal...
I don't know,,,maybe we should teach kids that whores are evil...:)
u see a lot of that in the US but i don't know of any other country??

Immagine a guy really needs to have some sex...
What do you prefer: a guy that goes to a prostitute, or that same guy that rapes a girl because prostitution is illegal?

You make it seem as if those are the ONLY two options.
A. Prostitute.
B. "Rape a girl"
Those are not the only two options, and there are other things one could do.
On this topic, I could really care less, if its legal or illegal. It actually is legal In some parts near Vegas I believe.

theer are ways around the law tho, the "escort" services provide an attrictive female escort to whatever event, and sex is voulentary....or so they have you belive :), so in truth, you're paying the lady for her time, but not for sex. always loopholes

There is just one thing i know.
Near vegas is not legal, but sure there is a lot of it.
Besides, countries that have legalized prostitution have less problems with aids and passional crimes, still dunno 8)

Yes I think it should be legalized, and in a way that would protect the prostitutes from being abused, forced, and/or explored by pimps. (IMO one of the problems of prostitution)

I think that it should be made totally illegal .. if a guy / gal is not happy with his / her partner / girlfriend / boyfriend then he / she should buy an " Alternative Sex Aid "
Males are not only to blame for this so called " Profession " .. to those women / males that participate in it .. it is just an easy way of making a fast $ or £ or whatever the country's currency .. instead of going out and doing a proper days work, IMHO :(

Prostitution's illegal? ......geez, where have I been for the last decade....
seriously, I always thought prostitution wasn't illegal, and that it was in every country.
Legalise it, because if it is, there will be a standard rate, the ladies will be protected from pimps, cops and mugs.
There will also be a better controll over diseases, and they will be less like to get addicted do drugs, or sell drugs.
+ more 4 me ;)
I, like Vile, couldnt care less if its legalised or not as I wouldnt ever use em.........well, over here anyway ! lol....Joke !
All prostitues I've seen in the UK on street corners just look like smacked up junkies.....I wouldnt even let them pay ME !
On the other hand, I went to Amsterdam a few months back and WOW !! Some of the prostitutes, infact alot of em, are 18-21 year old college/university girls and damn were they hot ! :D :D
Some of em belonged on the front cover of FHM not in them little cubicles !! lol
I can tell you, its very tempting over there, but paying for sex just seems like a desperate measure to me......
If I wanted sex that bad I could go into Manchester City Centre at weekend and pick up a couple of ugly slappers for free, but I wouldnt lower myself.......

u know, prostitution is one of the 2 oldest professions on earth. and incidently, here in sydney there is a tax on it, the government charges all hotels and motels a bed tex, which they also charge brothels, so if u go to a brothel u end up paying tax. and there is alot of prostitution in australia, u just have to know where to look
