hi all can any1 tell me where i can get bios x24975 or above and how 2 get it on2 my chip thanx

4975 is quite old...most peeps are running 4976.02 or 4977..

anyway, to flash it you'll need either an evox cdr with the bios on the cdr too(plus evox.ini set up to read bios file from the dvd drive) or to ftp the bios file to the xbox harddrive.

either way, you MUST have evox.(unless you have X2 pro that is)

You don't have to have evox for a x2.1 lite either , i flashed my x2.1 lite that came with the linux bios with ,ozxflash method using the ozxchip.iso and the bios cd you make yourself or you can use a x2 lite programmer.

not all chips r flashable in other words u cant upgrade the bios on all chips! wich chip do u have?

i dont know wat chip i have is there a way of finding out thanx 4 your replys.
i have just taken my xbox apart these r the only things i can think off that might b a chip which r:-
conexant video encoder (which im sure aint the 1 i need)
samsung 208
nvidea mcpx x3
ics ua230177
or there is 1 with a white stiucker which has k034
xms printed on it.

oh my god how come u dont know wich chip u got? ok u bought it from some 1, but u could have asked!
there r lots of different chips dude, go to www.forums.xbox-scene.com n ask them i'm sure they will help, as for the bios dont ask there where to get them cuz they say it's illegal! so get them here http://www.biteable.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

i opened up my other xbox thats not chipped and all the chip things r exactly the same as the chipped xbox apart from 1 that has a white sticker on it with numbers that has been crossed out but it dont say wat the chip is called anyway lets say it is flashable wat exactly do i do eg wat i download weather i have 2 put it on2 disk etc thanx

Download the bios! n transfer the bios via ftp to ur xbox n put them on C:/bios (u need evoulion x duh) then restart your xbox n go to system management / flash bios / select the new bios n hit a, it will now either flash the new bios if ur chips it's flashable or it will give u n error!

when i open the c bios there r files in there shall i delete them or leave them thanx

Leave them, but u can delete them aswell, if u think ur not going to be using them nemore than delelte them.

ok i done wat u said but when i go2 flash it the only options i have 2 flash with r the 2 that were already there this is exactly wat i did.
downloaded xecuter2_4976.02
unpacked using rar
there was a pic of a pc monitor with i on it called xecuter 2.build.4976.02 msinfo document 4kb
a file called x2_igr_disabled
another file called xecuter @_4976.02_multiver_2...bin file 256kb (r these the correct files)
i then transfered them 2 a bios directory on my xbox c drive once transfered i went 2 my xbox selected system utils then flash bios then i flashed it.is this correct thanx.

when you told me that i've upgraded the evox dashboard with a newer version: now i've the 1.8.3752 dashversion and i can use a game it doesn't work before (motoGP2), but not race driver!
i've tried to flash the bios but i've the evox D6 1.00.4817.01 and i haven't find a newer one.
i think i've the matrix 'cause when i turn on the xbox appear under the xbox logo the inscription "matrix inside"
however it is possible to run this game from hdd with the right upgrade?
ps:the link is no more active; can you tell me the new 1?

Try upgrading your chip bios use x2 bios, games made after march are protected, you can't run the games from the hdd
