Both teams played well in the first half,Slovakia took the lead from a free kick by Vladimir Janocko , then they had two very good chance to score but missed.Second hald We,England played much better in the second half, with a penalty scored by Michael Owen to make it 1-1, they Frank Lampard scored but to my suprise it was ruled off side when he was clearly on side.Owen scored the second a header from a cross from Gerrard.

England need to get better....
The defensive mid field needs to be more dominate, England has an advantage on most teams in that position. Also there is a big problem with finding a good FW next to Owen - Right now he isn't in the best of shape - but even if he got back to his normal self - England needs a strong player that would "bug" the defense (Someone like "your player" X-cal in his good days, Mr. Shearer;) LoL). Heskey is a nice dood but he won't help England, Vassel is O.K but ain't sure if he can do the job, Philips too close to Owen, etc etc....

I want Slovakia to start playing better! I am Slovak as my Great Grandparents fled what was then Chekelslovakia during the holocost and settled here in America so my heart stays with the Slovaks.
