Morrowind Help

I have recently started playing Morrowind and while traveling down one of the roads A wizard appeared out of no where. Upon searching his body I found some magical scrolls that allow me to leap great distances but unfortunatley I always die on the impact of the landing.:( If anyone could tell me a safe way to use these scrolls so that I may travel with them and night die on the landing I would be very thankfull.:D

Well I am a custom class at level two but I am not sure how much max health I can have.

In order to survive the fall from the jump that the scroll allows you to do, you need a slowfalling spell, scroll, or in my case I have an "Amulet of Slowfalling".

Sidenote: I don't know if you saw it but that wizard in the road didn't just appear, he fell out of the sky.:p

Thanks lap monkey! that is the information that I needed. Also do you know what your reward is for turning in the slave that is full of moon sugar to that one guy.
