hey...i d/led that crack for 1.06...and i don't know what to do with it...i had a no cd crack from Bildo for 1.05...yeah, after i d/led the new crack for 1.06, i went on and it's still not working...it d/ls the update then goes to restart warcraft but an error comes up saying my patch updater isn't there...yet i haven't deleted anything...also...it says it's unable to d/l the patch because i have the crack for 1.05...so i have no clue what to do...if you could help i'd appreciate it because i'm not very good with this crack stuff...thanks:doh:

so are u saying u applied the 1.06 no-cd crack before u tried to update the game to 1.06? if so put the 1.05 orginal .exe. if that doesnt help.. uninstall the game and then delete the whole warcraft 3 folder. get rid of it. reinstall the game. get the 1.06 patch from here.

TecknoMike is correct:
1) Recopy the original game.exe file from the original CD to the game folder on your HDD. Because you can only patch the game if the original exe is located in the game folder.

2)Now, download the 1.06 patch from the link TecknoMike gave above.

3)Patch the game

4)Get the 1.06 crack and apply it :)

this is probably a stupid question...but how do i uninstall the game and then reinstall it without the cd with me?...i lost my cd awhile ago


do i have to delete the old 1.05 crack(not the patch)...because i keep getting an error saying that my computer was unable to find a file for patching

You will have to go and buy the game again.

You can of course, contact Blizzard (http://www.blizzard.com/) and explain hem the story. Maybe they'll provide you a new CD for a lower price. I even think that if you can prove that you actually bought the game, but that you lost/damaged your CD, they give you a new one for free. But you need serious proofs :(

You will need the original .exe file when updating to 1.6

but there is a way around that as well

the easiest thing to do is make a image of the cd using daemontools or a similar program
no cd and you never have to worry or wait
when the next patch comes out for wc3
