Pc Program that Plays Playstation 2 CDS?

Hey guys.
Well, I just got ePSXe for Ps1 games. Its awesome. Tekken 3 in 1600x1200 with 32bit color. But anyways, I was surfing through some of the Emulator sites and came across this. From what I understand, there is a program like EPSXE that allows you to play Ps2 cds on your Pc? This one says its in early stages so you can't play retail cds. Just demos.

So I was wondering if anybody here would be able to give me some info about ps2 emulation programs. Is there any good ones out right now that can play Ps2 cds? That would be so cool if there was. Anyways, hope to here back from some one. Oh, here is the site that had the Ps2 Emulator that played demos.

I have not heard of any PS2 emulators. As a matter of fact they dont exist yet. They are working on them but nooooooot quite finished. But I am sure that once one is up a running it will be posted all over this forum so just keep checking back!

Hmm it will still be a long time before computers can emulate PS2 gamecube or xbox games;)

Not exactly true. Comps CAN emulate them, the prob is that they are so resource hogging (since there is an OS on a PC lol). But on Linux people have gotten emulators for PS2 AND Xbox.. even proggies that let your connect the Xbox INTO your PC! Like the DVD rom drive of the Xbox to be a PC DVD-ROM drive and also the Xbox drive, the ports and such to co-exist with your PC, so you can run Linux and Your Xbox/PS2 at the same time (so you don't have to turn it on/off to get one or the other running... also you can play online if you're bored). I won't post links because I am pretty sure it is illegal, but hey, it's DAMN COOL! lol.

Yea, I jsut discovered that blockbuster stopped renting ps1 games.Lol just when I got an emulator what works great for them. So I guess I can't get any free ps1 games. But thanks for info guys.

if you want to play ps2 games, be careful. Everything what you can find under the name ps2 emulator is fake and contains mostly a bad virus, till now.

Ive got 2 ps2 emulators but your right about unfinished as there only beta versions at the mo.

They run some game demos though and are coming along nicely.

Epsxe can now run ps1 games to perfection and that took many years so will be a good few years more till the same can be done with ps2 emu, I think it will.

There is a PS2 emulator called PCSX2 in progress and it can play some demos and shows some intro screen of some specific games. However it won't run ANY retail games yet. Not in another year or so.
