help for c&c generals

hi,
i recently bought the game generals,
i want to copy the cd , but i can't copy.
i am copying due to my brother always destroys my cds and i don't wont this happen to this cd.

please help me.. i can't copy this game... please helppp

Yea just break your brothers hands lol.

Depends what copy protection this game has. Go to www.gamecopyworld.com .Look under protection scanners and download the latest version of clonyXXL. This will scan the cd and tell you what copy protection the cd uses. Then if it detects it, go download Bones CCD4 Profiler from there also. This will load theses settings into this program from clonyxxl. Then from there you will need clone cd which you can get from game copy world. From bones, click the button to load the settings into clone cd.At one point when you are using clone cd, there will be some options such as ,game,data cd,music ect. Select Bones from that list . Choose a place to save it to on your hd. Once you have done that select the option to "Burn to image file" and it will make a 1:1 working copy of the cd on your harddrive. Once its done, load clone cd back up and select to burn image file to cd. And you are done.

Bet This game is SafeDisk 2 protected...
If it is, you can easily back up the game if you have the right hardware.

Check out the 4th link in my sig, and see if your Writer is supported by CloneCD. If it is, download the trial version of cloneCD (http://www.clonecd.net/download.htm) and backup the game at 2x read and write and with the FAST ERROR SKIP option enabled.

If it fails, check you'll have to apply a crack (http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/c907770_0.htm)

Oh, if its SafeDisk 2 ,then thats a piece of cake. SecuRom is the very hard one to get past. One thing I will probobly post a new thred about is megagames having more of these cool utilities. They have just a few. But whatever. Good luck.

I made a successful copy of Generals just by copying the contents of the CDs to my hard drive, I then added the no CD patch in a seperate folder so I would always have it, then I burnt it with Nero. I have installed it with the copy and run it with no CD in the drive, works like a charm. A lot easier the using a dozen programs.

Lol, thats what I do when Nero won't do a 1:1 copy, its almost gaurenteed to work every time.
